Alicia Bangert, DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Alicia Bangert joined our practice in January, 2019. Her clinical interests are gastroenterology, endocrinology, and feline medicine. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2006. She worked as a general small animal practitioner in Nebraska and Washington before going back to complete her residency in small animal internal medicine at Oklahoma State University. She became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2014 and worked as an internist in Kansas City before joining the team at Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Bangert shares her life with two stubborn Scottish Terriers, Heidi and Harvey, and an equally stubborn and goofy Maine Coon cat named Atticus. She enjoys bird watching/feeding, woodworking, baking/cooking, reading, and the outdoors.
