Dr. Keira Sztukowski (Dr. Stu), DVM, DACVIM (ONCOLOGY) joined Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine as an associate in 2024. After earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at the University of Colorado and graduating summa cum laude with her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Colorado State University, Dr. Stu completed her medical oncology residency at The Ohio State University. Dr. Stu was drawn to the specialty of oncology as it allows her to provide patients with the most cutting edge veterinary treatments, while also letting her support clients through the emotions of a cancer diagnosis. Her specific clinical interests include integrative cancer treatment, novel cancer therapies, feline oncology, and palliative care. In her spare time, Dr. Stu loves camping, yoga, traveling to remote hiking destinations, and spending downtime with her three rambunctious kitties.
