Dr. Blake Wood joined our practice in May 2026 after spending the last 4 years in emergency and critical care medicine. Her clinical interests include immune-mediated diseases and critical care. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She has advanced certifications in Point-of-Care (Global FAST) ultrasounds and the RECOVER Initiative Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support.

When she is not working, Dr. Blake Wood enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, son and two pups. She is an avid gardener, baker, and endurance race
